Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon Announced as Sequel to Oceanhorn 2

FDG Entertainment and Cornfox & Bros. have thrilled fans with the announcement of their latest addition to the Oceanhorn series, titled Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon. Set to launch in Q2 2025, this new game takes place 200 years after the events of Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm. Players can look forward to experiencing this fresh narrative on Android, iOS, and PC via Steam.

What’s the Story in New Game Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon?

Forget about sailing the seas; in Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon, you're delving into the heart of a perilous underground labyrinth. This game introduces a retro-inspired dungeon crawler experience.

The world of Gaia is struggling. The once-mighty Kingdom of Arcadia has fragmented into scattered islands, and the legendary White City has faded into obscurity. Yet, hope persists through four determined adventurers who set their sights on the mysterious Chronos Dungeon. This underground complex is said to house the Paradigm Hourglass, an artefact capable of altering history itself. Should these heroes overcome the dangers within, they might just have the power to restore Gaia to its former glory.

What About the Features?

Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon embraces the classic dungeon crawler format, complete with a nostalgic 16-bit arcade feel. Designed with couch co-op in mind, it supports up to four players for cooperative gameplay, allowing friends to tackle the adventure together. For solo players, the option to control all four heroes or switch between them as needed adds a dynamic layer to the experience.

The game introduces a unique twist with heroes starting with different stats each time, determined by their zodiac signs, ensuring varied playthroughs. Players can choose from four distinct characters: the Knight, Huntress, Grandmaster, and Mage.

Complementing the pixel art visuals, the game features a chiptune-inspired soundtrack and classic arcade elements, adding to its retro charm. For more details, the Steam page for Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon is now live, offering a deeper look into FDG's latest venture.
