Pikmin Bloom is gearing up to celebrate its 3.5th anniversary with a nostalgic twist, bringing back the charm of Nintendo's past. From May 1st, players can dive into the festivities by completing event missions to unlock the Nintendo Game Consoles ’80-’95 Decor Pikmin. These unique Pikmin are adorned with designs inspired by Nintendo's iconic gaming hardware from the '80s and '90s, allowing you to reconnect with the classics in a fun, new way.
But the celebration doesn't stop there. Alongside the console-themed Pikmin, you'll also have the chance to acquire the Playing Card (Clubs Suit) Decor Pikmin. These special Pikmin pay homage to Nintendo's roots as a physical toy manufacturer, sporting designs reminiscent of the original playing card decks that the company once produced. It's a delightful nod to Nintendo's pre-video game era.
Push PlayWhile the nostalgia of Nintendo's hardware might be the main draw for many, the irony that Pikmin, a series that debuted on the GameCube, won't be directly represented in this decor set is not lost on fans. Nevertheless, from May 1st to the 31st, you'll have the opportunity to collect Game Button Cells through event missions. These cells can then be used to grow your new decor Pikmin, adding a touch of retro flair to your collection.
Premium Event Pass holders can look forward to even more exclusive perks during the 3.5th anniversary event, making it an exciting time to be a part of the Pikmin Bloom community.
