Event Details

When is the Pokémon GO Bug Out Event?

The Pokémon GO Bug Out event runs from March 26th at 10 AM to March 30th at 8 PM local time. That's five days packed with bug-catching action! This event is also perfect for Shiny hunting, with many featured Pokémon having Shiny forms available.

Featured Wild Pokémon for the Pokémon GO Bug Out Event

These bug-type Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild: Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, Nymble, and Cutiefly (with Shiny potential).

New Pokémon During the Bug Out Event

Sizzlipede and Centiskorch will debut! Evolve Sizzlipede into Centiskorch using 50 Sizzlipede Candy.

Scyther*, Nincada* and Sizzlipede
