Conquering Kupolovrax: A Comprehensive Project Tower Boss Guide
Kupolovrax, a formidable boss in Project Tower, presents a significant challenge due to its projectile-heavy attacks. This guide outlines effective strategies to overcome this enemy. While targeting its illuminated segments seems intuitive, damage is also inflicted by hitting its carapace.
Phase 1
In the initial phase, Kupolovrax remains grounded. Maintain distance, consistently fire, and employ these evasion techniques:
- Orb Ring Fall: As rings descend, dodge roll just before impact. Look up to anticipate their trajectory.
- Orb Scattershot Fall: This is easier to evade than the ring attack. Strafe to avoid the scattered projectiles while keeping an eye on their descent. Dodge roll as needed.
- Orb Line Push: This is the most challenging Phase 1 attack. Effectively evade by waiting for the first line, performing a forward dodge roll, and immediately dashing forward.
- Stomp: Simply jump over the resulting shockwave. You can continue firing during the jump.
Phase 2
Kupolovrax takes flight at approximately 66% health. Continue maintaining distance and firing while using these strategies:
- Orb Scattershot Fall: The slow descent of these orbs allows for easy evasion by strafing and watching the sky.
- Orb Ring Push: Hold your position until the rings are about to hit, then dodge roll left or right.
- Orb Line Push: Similar to Phase 1, wait for the first line, dodge roll forward, and immediately dash forward. Alternatively, dodge roll left or right, then dash in the opposite direction.
Phase 3
Triggered at roughly 33% health, Phase 3 resembles Phase 2, but includes a modified attack:
- Modified Orb Ring Push: This three-part attack consists of converging rings, followed by two quick ring pushes, and finally, falling orb rings. Dodge roll left just before the first set of rings, immediately dash right to avoid the quick pushes, and then walk forward to evade the falling rings.
