Rainbow Six Siege X Unveiled
The March 2025 Rainbow Six Siege Showcase
Announced on February 17, 2025, Rainbow Six Siege X promises sweeping gameplay improvements and refinements. Ubisoft will fully detail these changes at a showcase event on March 13, 2025, at 10:00 am PDT / 1:00 pm EDT in Atlanta, Georgia. The event description promises an immersive experience, bringing players, creators, and developers together to unveil the future of Siege.
For those wanting to attend in person, a USD $10 ticket includes an exclusive long-sleeve shirt and an in-game cosmetic pack. However, attendance is limited to legal residents of the USA and Canada who are at least 18 years old and possess a good standing Rainbow Six Siege account (no bans or sanctions).
Ubisoft is also offering two lucky fans a VIP experience, including a hotel stay, roundtrip flight, and entry to the showcase. This giveaway is also limited to legal residents of the USA and Canada.
The upcoming update promises "new ways to play, deepened tactical gameplay, refined game feel, and major upgrades all around," though specifics remain under wraps until the showcase.
Rainbow Six Siege's Upcoming 10th Anniversary
Originally released on December 1, 2015, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Rainbow Six Siege later came to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2020), the game has enjoyed a long and successful run as a live-service title. This major update promises to further extend its lifespan.
A February 17, 2025 Steam post revealed additional details: a new operator, Aurora, with deployable bulletproof doors; a new elite skin for Aruni; and a new reputation system rewarding or penalizing player behavior. These additions will launch with Season 1 of Year 10, Operation Prep Phase, on March 4, 2025, to celebrate the game's 10th anniversary.
Given the timing of Season 10's launch and the Rainbow Six Siege X showcase, the major upgrades detailed at the showcase will likely be implemented on live servers at a later date.
