"Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O.: Acquisition and Usage Guide"

Author : Chloe May 15,2025

In the chilling universe of *R.E.P.O.*, your survival hinges on the items you collect, which can be the difference between advancing to the next level or facing the dreaded Disposal Arena alongside your teammates. Among these crucial items, Recharge Drones are indispensable for success, and here's how to acquire and utilize them effectively.

What Recharge Drones Do

Within the game, the Service Station offers various items, some of which, like Mines and Grenades, are single-use. However, others, including weapons and drones, come with a "battery life" that can be restored using Energy Crystals. As you start your journey in *R.E.P.O.*, you'll notice a container-type object in your truck, which is crucial for charging your gear. This process requires an Energy Crystal, but once you purchase additional crystals, they seamlessly integrate into the container, ready for use.

To recharge an item, simply place it in the yellow bucket adjacent to the container, and watch as it regains its health. This feature is invaluable for maintaining your equipment's condition, ensuring you're well-prepared to face the horrors of each new level and the myriad of monsters that await.

However, the intensity of some levels can cause your items to deplete rapidly. While you can charge them at designated locations, you won't always be near your truck. This is where the Recharge Drone becomes an essential ally, allowing you to manage your items' energy on the go.

How to Get and Use the Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O.

The Recharge Drone, like other items and upgrades, can be found at the Service Station, which you visit after successfully completing a level. Here, you can equip yourself with the necessary tools to make your next challenge easier, provided you have the funds.

Since items at the Service Station appear randomly, it might take several visits for the Recharge Drone to show up. Once it does, it's available for purchase at a cost of between $4-5K. This compact cube will occupy one of your inventory slots, so you'll need to assign it to slot 1, 2, or 3 after buying it.

You can monitor your items' health via the battery bar displayed underneath them. To recharge an item, select the Recharge Drone, activate it by pressing 'E', and then attach your depleted item. Let the drone work its magic! When the drone's battery runs out, you can recharge it at your truck's container using Energy Crystals.

Now that you're equipped with the knowledge of how to find and use the Recharge Drone in *R.E.P.O.*, you're better prepared to navigate the terrifying challenges that lie ahead.
