In the game, you step into the shoes of Harvey Green, a traveling book salesman navigating the winding lanes of Villa Ventana. Harvey turned to peddling books after his own writing career failed to take off.
He is haunted by a recurring nightmare in which his own severed head is mounted on a wall. This cycle of dread spills into his waking life as he finds himself lost in an unfamiliar town.
You'll guide Harvey through eclectic shops, shadowy back alleys, disordered houses, and hidden corners of this coastal settlement. Villa Ventana itself emerges as a central character, defined by its four distinct main streets.
You might wander into a pizzeria styled like an Italian courtyard, or step inside a bustling casino filled with roulette wheels, blackjack tables, and slot machines.
Your primary objective is to find Lena, a researcher Harvey glimpses while fiddling with an antique radio. By following her trail, you'll search abandoned homes and gather key items that unlock new areas.
