Following the dramatic Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has rolled out an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions. This update introduces two thrilling new characters: Spider-Woman, who swings into action on April 17th with her spider-enhanced abilities and espionage skills, and Lumatrix, the first Eidol Champion of 2025, debuting on April 9th. Lumatrix, a creation of The Founders, is a dazzling yet dangerous assassin whose light manipulation powers add a unique twist to your roster. To recruit Lumatrix, you'll need to gather Light Essence from Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids during the event, which runs through June 4th.
The new update also brings fresh quests and special events. The Spy Games quest, running from March 9th to May 7th, features Black Widow teaming up with Spider-Woman to unravel the mysteries surrounding the Eidols and Lumatrix's sinister light show. This event promises intrigue and action at every turn.
Adding to the excitement, Deadpool joins the fray with Red & Dead’s Discount Shed event, available from April 25th to May 2nd. Here, Red Guardian convinces Deadpool to share a treasure trove of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and bonuses. Following closely, the Heart of Fire Sale from May 7th to 14th offers a chance to snag valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.
Later this month, don't miss the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event, which will run from April 18th through May 2nd. This event spices up the seven-day supply drop, and achieving milestones will earn you Poolshields, exchangeable for rewards during Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, encouraging regular logins for more free rewards.
