The Capcom Pro Tour has concluded, revealing the 48 competitors for Capcom Cup 11. While the world's best players are certainly noteworthy, let's focus on their character choices.
Following the World Warrior circuit, EventHubs compiled statistics on the most frequently used Street Fighter 6 characters at the highest competitive level. This data provides a valuable insight into the game's balance. Remarkably, all 24 fighters saw representation, though only one player selected Ryu from nearly two hundred participants (across eight regional finalists from 24 regions). Even the recently added Terry Bogard was chosen by just two players.
Currently dominating the professional scene are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each favored by 17 players. A significant gap follows, with Akuma (12 players), Ed and Luke (11 each), and JP and Chun-Li (10 each) forming the next tier. Among the less popular choices, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, each selected as a main character by seven players.
Capcom Cup 11 is set for March in Tokyo, with a million-dollar prize awaiting the champion.
