In an electrifying conclusion to the Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault 2025, Colombia’s Samuel Sanin Ortiz, known in the gaming world as “Sasmis,” emerged victorious in the Tennis Clash finals. Hosted by Wildlife Studios, the eighth edition of the tournament marked a historic shift with the introduction of a team format, adding a fresh layer of strategy and competition to this year’s event.

The grand finale captivated hundreds of live attendees at Stade Roland-Garros, along with thousands more tuning in via YouTube and Twitch. Unlike previous editions, the competition went beyond traditional singles play, incorporating a team stage where eight finalists were divided into two squads of four players each. Each squad was mentored by tennis legends—French Grand Slam champion Marion Bartoli and former ATP Top 10 player Gilles Simon—elevating both the prestige and intensity of the matches.

Simon took the helm for Team A, guiding players Adjua Boucher “Renapower” (USA), Samuel Sanin Ortiz “Sasmis” (COL), Eugen Mosdir “AreidY” (GER), and Alessandro Bianco “ΔLEX” (ITA). Meanwhile, Bartoli coached Team B featuring Hizir Balkanci “Hizir” (TUR), Randy Van Haele “RSMKN” (BEL), Omer Feder “Omer” (ISR), and Anyndia Lestari “Anyndia” (IDN).

"I am genuinely really happy to win Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault. I put a lot of work into qualifying and winning, and I’m very proud to have accomplished it. The entire journey and experience has been incredible—from what I witnessed at Roland-Garros to what I’ll see again.
