A long-awaited Christmas miracle has arrived for Team Fortress 2 fans! Valve has unexpectedly released a new comic for the popular team-based shooter. The announcement appeared on the official game website.
Titled "The Days Have Worn Away," this is the seventh numbered comic and the 29th overall, including special event and themed releases. Remarkably, it marks the return of the TF2 comic series after a seven-year hiatus, the last installment having been released in 2017.
Valve playfully acknowledged the lengthy wait, likening the comic's creation to the building of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They humorously pointed out that while the original builders didn't live to see its completion, TF2 players "only" had to wait seven years.

The new comic provides a satisfying conclusion to the ongoing storyline. Hints from Erik Wolpaw's tweet on X regarding "the very last meeting for the Team Fortress 2 comic" suggest this may be the final installment. Nevertheless, players can now enjoy a satisfying resolution to the narrative and a dose of festive cheer.
