- Torchlight: Infinite's Outlaw Season pits you against a ruthless megacorporation.
- It also debuts a new Hero Trait: Rosa, the Unsullied Blade.
- Major overhauls have been applied to several core systems.
Recently teased during the aptly named TorchCon, the Outlaw season for Torchlight: Infinite has officially launched. It brings a major shake-up through a new risk-versus-reward system and unprecedented build diversity. Of course, a brand-new Hero Trait and seasonal mechanic are also part of the package.
Let's start with the season's theme, which makes the "Outlaw" name perfectly clear. Your goal is to take down the sinister Tower Co. This involves locating their transports, cracking open supply cases, and—as expected in an action RPG—fighting through hordes of enemies.
Successfully disrupting the corporation increases your Crime Rating, unlocking Black Market Bounties and side objectives with substantial rewards. You can also spend your earned Tower Coins for a chance to raid the Central Vault. Be warned, though: your activities may draw the attention of a formidable boss.

A Case Where Crime Can Pay
Beyond corporate raids, the new season introduces the Rosa – Unsullied Blade Hero Trait. Battlemage enthusiasts, take note. This melee build scales with mana and utilizes the Realm of Mercury mechanic to seamlessly blend single-target and area-of-effect damage.
If that doesn't suit your style, the revamped Focus Skills System might. The Imbue system is now integrated into Focus Skills, allowing powerful attacks to charge via specific actions like critical strikes or applying crowd control. With five distinct Focus Skills to experiment with, the potential for customization is significant.
The Outlaw season could easily be called the Overhaul season, given the extensive changes. The Talent System has been redesigned with more core talents and fewer restrictions, eliminating primary and secondary talent concerns. This opens up a new level of build freedom in Torchlight: Infinite.
Torchlight: Infinite is free-to-play with in-app purchases and is available on the App Store and Google Play. If you haven't tried it yet, you can download it for your preferred platform using the links below.
