Not quite finished collecting all the cards from the Pokémon TCG Pocket Celestial Guardians expansion, which launched just three weeks ago? Tough luck—because the next wave is already here. Introducing Extradimensional Crisis, set to arrive on May 29, bringing with it a wave of otherworldly threats and mysterious new Pokémon.
This latest expansion dives into the bizarre and the extraterrestrial, spotlighting the enigmatic Ultra Beasts—dimension-hopping entities first introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon. These alien-like invaders make their bold debut in Pokémon TCG Pocket with confirmed card releases including Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. Alongside them, fans can expect more Alolan region Pokémon, expanding on the roster introduced in Celestial Guardians. Also confirmed: Type: Null, strongly hinting that its evolved form, Silvally, won’t be far behind.
With every new expansion comes fresh cosmetics, and Extradimensional Crisis delivers. Starting May 29, players can unlock an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover using shop tickets. Additionally, a floral display board will be available during the upcoming Wonder Pick event beginning June 11, purchasable with event tickets.
Since its launch last year, Pokémon TCG Pocket has maintained a steady and exciting rollout of new content. While Extradimensional Crisis is classified as a minor booster expansion—featuring just one booster pack type instead of multiple—it continues the rapid release cycle without missing a beat. As the seventh expansion overall and the fourth smaller-scale release (joining Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry), it keeps the momentum going.
For now, all previous expansions remain active and accessible in the game—with no retirements yet. But given the pace of new drops, that could change at any moment. Stay ready, stay collecting.
