Following the March 10 update in *Fields of Mistria*, you can now reach the coveted Fire Seal by clearing the previous altars. To unlock this seal, you must offer four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here's a detailed guide on how to obtain each item and successfully unlock the Fire Seal.
Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria
The Faceted Rock Gem, a rare artifact, is hidden within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure you're running the latest version of the game and navigate to Floors 50-59. Our team discovered the gem on Floor 56 after some diligent digging. Use your pickaxe or shovel to unearth it from marked spots on the ground, but be prepared for a bit of a grind due to its rarity.
Where to Find Rockroot in Fields of Mistria
Rockroot, a common forageable, can be found between Floors 50-59 in the mines. If you're a regular miner, you might already have this in your inventory. Look for a dark, root-like plant as shown in the image above. You'll need just one to satisfy the requirements for the Priestess’ altar.
Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria
Emeralds are the easiest of the offerings to obtain. They appear frequently as geodes on Floors 50-59 in the mines. If you're low on stock, you can also find them by breaking large boulders around Mistria or purchase them for just 200 tesserae at Balor’s Wagon. For those with access to the new Stone Refinery introduced in the March 2025 update, crafting your own Emeralds is another viable option.
How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria
The Sealing Scroll is the last piece you'll need to unlock the Fire Seal. This item is tied to a quest that starts when you meet Juniper after finding the seal. You'll then need to recruit Balor to acquire the scroll, which comes with a cost:
- x10 Silver Ingots
- x10 Rubies
- x10 Sapphires
- x10 Emeralds
If you're short on these materials, continue mining as they can all be found within the mines. Once you have gathered the necessary items, deposit them in the bin by Balor’s Wagon to secure your Sealing Scroll.
Unlocking the Fire Seal
With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your inventory, return to Floor 60 of the mines to make your offering. This action will break the Fire Seal, granting you access to a new biome and more adventures in *Fields of Mistria* during its Early Access phase.
