Following a press tour that saw Jack Quaid sporting increasingly impressive (and fake) injuries at a Clippers game, Novocaine has finally hit theaters. This R-rated action-comedy stars Quaid as a man impervious to pain—leading one to suspect the Boys veteran enjoys a good fake-blood-splattered scene.
IGN critic Lena Wilson praised the film, stating, “Novocaine offers more depth than its gimmicky 'man who feels no pain' premise may lead you to believe," adding that it boasts "clever storytelling and character writing that reminds us of a time when seeing movies in theaters was just plain fun.”
