Microsoft has just unveiled two stunning Witcher 3-themed Xbox controllers to celebrate the 10th anniversary of *The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt*. These exclusive Witcher 3 Special Edition 10th Anniversary Xbox Controllers are now available at the Microsoft Store, with the standard version priced at $79.99 and the Elite Series 2 at $169.99. As a fan of the game, I find it incredible that it's been a decade since its release.

Both controllers boast a similar design, featuring etchings inspired by Geralt of Rivia. The iconic wolf medallion that Geralt wears is etched into the center of each controller. Additionally, the controllers incorporate Glagolitic script, the oldest known Slavic alphabet used in the game. The right grip showcases the red claw marks representing the "III" from the game's cover, adding a unique touch to the design.
Functionally, these controllers maintain the high standards of their standard counterparts. Personally, the current Xbox controller is my top pick due to its comfortable grip and durability, which withstands even the rough handling by my kids.
The Elite Series 2 model comes with enhanced features to justify its higher price. It includes adjustable-tension thumbsticks, hair trigger locks, and a wrap-around rubberized grip. It also offers interchangeable components such as thumbsticks of varying heights, different D-pad designs, and customizable rear paddles.
These new controllers are compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android devices, ensuring versatility for gamers across different platforms. If you're not solely an Xbox user, you might also be interested in checking out the newly available Death Stranding 2-themed PS5 controller, which is now up for preorder.
