Wuthering Waves has just released its highly anticipated Version 2.3 update, titled "Fiery Arpeggio of Summer," which marks both the game's first anniversary and its exciting launch on Steam, making it accessible to PC players. This update is scheduled to roll out in four phases, starting from April 29th and lasting until June 12th, 2025, offering a plethora of new content for players with a decent Union Level to explore over the next month or so.
Wuthering Waves Version 2.3 Is Called Fiery Arpeggio of Summer
The "Fiery Arpeggio of Summer" update brings a host of new features, including new characters, engaging story arcs, and a variety of event content. Players can immerse themselves in new storylines such as "A Blaze in the Dark" and "Your Summer Will Never Wither." Additionally, a fresh wave of Phantom Echoes has been introduced, featuring Crownless (with its challenging Nightmare version), Nimbus Wraith, and the cunning Chest Mimic.
Celebrating the game's first anniversary, the "Gifts of Grand Celebration" login event will be active from May 23rd to June 11th. Players at Union Level 8 and above can earn Radiant Tides and a Moment of Resonance. For a closer look at what's in store, check out the official trailer below.
Alongside the anniversary celebrations, there are two other login events: "Gifts of Grand Reunion" (April 29th to June 11th) and "Gifts of Melodic Verses" (June 5th to June 19th). These events reward players with Radiant Tide, Lustrous Tide, Astrite, Modifiers, and various upgrade materials, enhancing the gaming experience.
There Are New and Old Minigames
The update also brings back the beloved Cubie Derby, both as a warm-up leisure event and a spectator event. Players can roll dice to move their Cube on a board, competing for rewards such as Phantom: Chest Mimic and Flight Aspect: Laureate. In the first phase of the update, players can pull for new Resonators like Lumi, Taoqi, and Yuanwu, along with weapons including Dauntless Evernight, Overture, and Hollow Mirage. This phase will run until June 11th.
