Game Introduction

Popular Classic Card Game: Seven Bridges

Overview:

Seven Bridges is a Japanese card game app blending elements of Rummy and Mahjong. The objective is to quickly discard your hand by creating melds (sets of same number or sequential cards of the same suit) and strategically using other players' discards. Unlike Mahjong's complexity, Seven Bridges features only seven cards per hand and two meld types, making it beginner-friendly. Points are tallied from remaining hands at the end of a round. Revealing melds reduces your score, but also makes them vulnerable to being "tagged" by other players. This creates a strategic balance between risk and reward. It's a fun, classic card game perfect for families and friends of all ages.

Features:

  • Rule-Based Assistance: The game guides you, allowing selection only of playable cards and valid actions.
  • Intuitive Rules Explanation: Easy-to-understand rules make it accessible to newcomers.
  • Game Statistics: Track your win rate and game history.
  • Variable Game Length: Play with 1, 5, or 10 rounds.

Gameplay:

Select a card and choose an action using the appropriate button (buttons are only active when a valid card is selected).

  • Discard: Select a card and press the discard button.
  • Meld: Select cards that form a meld and press the meld button.
  • Tag: Choose a meld to tag and press the tag button. If multiple attachment points exist, select your preferred one. Buttons for Pong and Chi declarations will appear when possible.
