PHASE 10 RULES:
A phase is a card combination, usually made of sets (cards of the same value), runs (cards in consecutive order), cards of one color, or a mix of these. There are ten phases in total.
The dealer shuffles and deals 10 cards face down, one by one, to each player. Players keep their cards hidden from others.
Completing phases
▪️ Phases must be completed in order from 1 to 10.
▪️ You must have the full Phase in hand before laying it down.
▪️ You can lay down more than the required cards, but only if they fit directly into the Phase.
▪️ Only one Phase can be made per hand.
▪️ If you complete a Phase, you move to the next one in the following hand. If you fail, you must try the same Phase again next hand.
▪️ You get credit for a Phase as soon as it's laid down—winning the hand isn't required. Multiple players can complete a Phase in the same hand.
Also, if you have a Phase in hand, you are not forced to lay it down. However, you must still discard one card at the end of your turn.
Going Out and Ending the Round:
Once you complete and lay down your Phase, try to play out the rest of the cards in your hand.
Remember: Always draw one card at the start of your turn and discard one at the end.
Scoring a Round:
The round ends when a player lays down their Phase and discards their last card.
Players add up the points of the cards left in their hands (fewer cards is better), scored as follows:
▪️ 5 points for each card numbered 1–9
▪️ 10 points for cards 10–12
▪️ 15 points for a Skip card
▪️ 25 points for a Wild card
Your goal is to finish the game with the lowest score.
Finishing the game:
If only one player is on Phase 10 and completes it, they win immediately. If multiple players finish phases in the same hand, the one with the lowest total points wins. If tied, those players replay Phase 10; the first to finish and discard all cards wins.
