This is an online stand-alone turn-based chess game inspired by the classic Chinese novel "Water Margin".
In the game, players take on the role of Song Jiang, the protagonist, leading a band of 107 heroes through a meticulously crafted series of plot-driven levels. These levels allow players to immerse themselves in some of the epic tales from the original work.
The game features a dual narrative structure, branching into two distinct storylines in the mid to late stages, encompassing over 60 levels. The choices players make throughout the game will lead to different endings. As the story unfolds, all 108 heroes from "Water Margin" will be introduced, each with unique weapons and distinct characteristics. Players can acquire various treasures and equipment on the battlefield, using strategic combinations and formations to defeat enemies and potentially alter the destinies of the Liangshan heroes within the game.
In addition to the main storyline, the game offers special modes such as challenge levels, endless modes, and hero biographies. These modes allow players to push their strategic skills to the limit and delve into the life stories of iconic characters like Wu Song, Lu Zhishen, and Lin Chong, experiencing their unique traits and styles.
