Paint, draw, and share your creations with the world. ArtClash is in early access, with more exciting features on the way. We are not Sketchbook, Photoshop, Procreate, or Infinite Painter. We are ArtClash, a unique platform designed to inspire daily drawing, sketching, and cartooning.

ArtClash is a work in progress, crafted by a single developer to help my wife and me practice every day, and to encourage others to do the same. The first game is complete, with more to come soon.

Current Features:

• Paint: Sketch, paint, and blend your artwork with ease.
• Import Images: Use images as references or paint over them to create something new.
• Interactive Drawing: Choose topics or a series of topics, set optional constraints like time limits, color limits, or canvas sizes, draw, and earn points for each correct guess from others.
• Difficulty Levels: Six levels of difficulty for topics, ranging from single words to up to five different words (nouns, verbs, places, timer periods).
• Constraints for Extra Points: Select from three constraints—time, colors, or canvas size—to challenge yourself and earn more points.
• Free Draw and Share: Create anything you want and share it with the community.
• NSFW Flag: Option to view or hide images marked as NSFW.

Current Early Access Issues/Bugs:

• Ugly UI: The Unity UI has been challenging, but we plan to switch to XAML for a better and more responsive interface.
• Performance on Large Canvases: Keep canvases under 1024x1024 on lower-end devices. The GPU-accelerated brush engine slows down with large canvases and small brushes. We are testing other engines to improve performance.

Upcoming Features:

• More Games: Starting with a "telephone" game using drawings.
• Enhanced Social Features: Change avatars, add comments to projects or finished games, friend and follow others.
• Improved UI and Brush Engine: Addressing the bugs mentioned above.
• Advanced Tools: Marquee selection and transform tools.
• More Brushes: Support for any brush texture, with the ability to add and share custom brushes.
• Enhanced Layer System: Improved layer management, including locking transparent pixels and masking.
• Developer Communication System: A feedback system for requesting features, reporting bugs, and voting on future changes.
• Moderators: Promote users to moderate flagged images and handle community issues.
• User Submissions: Allow users to submit topics and constraints, which will be added after moderation.
• Future Capabilities: Full image editing, animation, scripting, and game/storyboard prototyping.

ArtClash is currently optimized for social competition and encouragement rather than being a full image editing suite, due to performance issues with large textures and the lack of comprehensive editing features at this stage.
