Power Cruise Control (PCC) is a smart navigation app designed to eliminate range anxiety for electric commercial vehicles, specifically supporting the Fiat e-Ducato (47 kWh and 79 kWh models). Unlike other EV apps, PCC boasts real-time connectivity to your vehicle via a Bluetooth OBDII dongle. This provides precise data on your State of Charge (SoC), State of Health (SoH), speed, instant power consumption, and more.
PCC's intuitive interface, featuring a clear Heaven-Hell indicator, guides you to your destination safely and efficiently. This indicator, coupled with a foreground view of your route, ensures reliable arrival. The app considers orography (hills and valleys), your planned route, and factors like air temperature, A/C/heating use, to calculate energy consumption accurately, including regenerative braking during descents. Furthermore, PCC identifies nearby and en-route charging stations.
Using PCC is straightforward:
- Connect your OBDII dongle.
- Set your destination.
- Select your energy strategy.
- Follow the Heaven-Hell indicator to reach your destination.
This simple process ensures safe and efficient journeys, with the Heaven/Hell indicator constantly managing energy consumption. New MultiCharge options are available, displaying real-time connector status (where data is shared by the provider). Customize your experience by selecting mph/km/h and Celsius/Fahrenheit within the app.
