GPS Tracking Device Status App

App for Drivers

This app allows drivers to post various work-related information alongside the company's Web Console, ensuring that work information is more accurate and comprehensive. The app includes the following features:

1. Travel Itinerary Menu (TMS)

   This menu is designed for managing travel plans for product delivery as assigned by employees. It displays the current location via GPS devices or the Mobile Tracker menu, as well as the locations where products need to be delivered. It also provides updates on delivery status.

2. Maintenance Menu

   This menu is used for recording vehicle maintenance activities. Data and reports can be summarized through the Web Console and are categorized as follows:

   • Refueling
   • Maintenance/Service
   • Vehicle condition checks
   • Repair items

3. Mobile Tracker Menu

   This menu tracks the driver's location using a mobile device instead of a GPS device. The app collects and stores GPS location data in the system while tracking is active, and users can turn off data transmission. This data can be integrated with other menus such as the travel plan menu (TMS) and vehicle tracking menu. Users can also view data summaries or reports in various formats through the Web Console. The Mobile Tracker menu requires additional permissions for certain device functions:

   • Continuous Location Access: Allows the app to request GPS location information without needing to be launched, enhancing usability.

   • Physical Activity Data Access (ACTIVITY RECOGNITION): This permission is used to manage and control GPS data in different modes for improved efficiency and energy conservation:

     1. Still: Requests GPS data every 1 minute; in Power Save Mode, it requests every 5 minutes.
     2. Working: Requests GPS data every 1 minute when walking is detected.
     3. In Vehicle: Sends GPS data every second for accurate distance and speed tracking, but normally sends data every 1 minute.

     Power Save Mode activates after being still for more than 5 minutes and deactivates upon detecting walking or vehicle activity.

4. Vehicle Tracking Menu

   This menu displays current location information from GPS or Mobile Tracker devices and various work statuses. It also allows users to view historical data in various formats, including:

   • Device information
   • Notification settings
   • Daily travel summary information
   • GPS movement data at desired time intervals
   • Additional information from installed equipment such as MDVR, TPMS (if available)
