Year 1 Post-Launch Roadmap
More than a month after its release, Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) continues to evolve, thanks to Ubisoft's commitment to enhancing the gaming experience. On May 1, Ubisoft shared their year 1 roadmap via Twitter (X), detailing a host of upcoming updates and new content.
One of the most exciting aspects of the roadmap is the introduction of new Story Drops. These free content updates will enrich the game with fresh quests, new player abilities, additional allies, and expanded world activities. Ubisoft promises that these drops will not only introduce new gameplay elements but also delve deeper into the backstories of beloved characters, enhancing the narrative experience of the main game.
In addition to the free content, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of their first major expansion, The Claws of Awaji, set to launch later this year. This expansion will take players to the newly introduced island of Awaji, offering a fresh region to explore post-epilogue. Fans can look forward to encountering new enemies, acquiring new abilities for both protagonists, and wielding an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
