Call of Duty: Mobile is set to launch Season 5, titled Primal Reckoning, on May 28th, 2025, at 5 PM PT. This season promises something for everyone, blending futuristic, dystopian themes with a unique twist—a visit to the zoo and a crossover with NieR: Automata.
The highly anticipated Zoo Map makes its debut on mobile after originating in Call of Duty: Black Ops. This mid-sized map features crumbling animal enclosures, empty gift shops, and a monorail slicing through the battlefield. In Battle Royale mode, players can now find Buy Machines scattered across the Isolated Map. Scavenge for cash, eliminate enemies, and use their earnings to purchase armor, Perks, Scorestreaks, or even the fiery Purifier flamethrower.
Season 5 also introduces a brand-new Battle Pass packed with exclusive content. Players can customize their Combat Axe and Smoke Grenade with fresh skins, while the versatile VMP SMG joins the roster, ready to dominate in both Multiplayer and BR modes.
The highlight of Season 5 is undoubtedly the NieR: Automata crossover. Lead the YorHa Unit in a special event against Machine Lifeforms, where objectives determine your progress and unlock Skill Chips. Acquire the iconic Kui Ji – YoRHa No. 9 Type S operator, along with four unique melee weapons inspired by the game. Exclusive Draws featuring Kestrel – YoRHa No. 2 Type B and Fiona St. George – Commander White are also on the horizon.
