PC Alpha Went Live on August 6, 2024!
The Delta Force PC Alpha Test went live at around Aug 5, 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT. However, the developers announced that the Alpha Test would close on September 8, or Sept 7, 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT for the United States.
Fans had the opportunity to participate in the Alpha Test through various avenues, including the Delta Force Official Website, the Delta Force Official Steam Page, and by watching Delta Force Twitch Streams to receive Twitch Drops. Additionally, their official Twitter/X account frequently offered Alpha Test codes during special events and milestones.
July 24 Update: New Alpha Test Date Announced
Delta Force announced the new date for the delayed Alpha test for August 6, 2024! Fans could try their luck to get in through the official website, the official Steam page, or by obtaining keys through Twitch drops or giveaways. One notable giveaway was posted on their official Twitter/X account, where 100 lucky winners received codes for the Alpha test.
July 16 Update: Alpha Test Postponed
From the pre-alpha test that took place from July 11 - 15, the developers identified several critical errors that affected gameplay for the small subset of players who participated. As a result, they had to postpone the July Alpha test to work on fixing the game and ensure the best possible experience for players.
Initially Scheduled Alpha Test
Delta Force was initially set to hold its Alpha Test on July 18, with no disclosed end date. Fans could gain access by filling out player surveys on the official website, requesting access on the official Steam page, or watching content creators on Twitch.tv to receive Steam keys as Twitch Drops.
The pre-alpha test from July 11 to 15 served as a stress test, allowing a small subset of players early access. Requesting access through all available channels might have granted early-early access.
