Special Anniversary Novel Revealed
Square Enix celebrated NieR's milestone anniversary with multiple franchise announcements during their April 19 livestream. The company revealed an online special novel titled [U]ndecided Option, with the first installment already available and two more chapters coming April 25 and May 2 respectively.
The novel's enigmatic description hints at "a 'servant' encountering a mysterious boy with an unusual aura who becomes their guide." Concurrently, Square Enix launched an official 15th anniversary website serving as the hub for the novel and future celebration content.
Comprehensive Anniversary Celebrations Planned
An exclusive exhibition is scheduled at Tokyo's Sunshine City in Ikebukuro, showcasing new artworks of protagonists from Replicant, Automata, and Re[in]carnation. Ticket details will be announced later.
The NieR: Orchestra Concert 12024 expands with additional Osaka performances (July 25-26) and Tokyo shows (August 2-3), currently available through lottery ticket sales. Concert details are available on the official website.
