The official Digimon TCG Twitter (X) account released a teaser trailer on March 16, hinting at the project being a mobile app or game.
The animated teaser, lasting just 14 seconds, shows Renamon interacting with a mobile device and then being pulled into the screen. This has led fans to speculate that this could be an official Digimon TCG mobile client, a feature that players have been requesting since the game's inception. Such an app could draw more players by enhancing accessibility, much like the successful mobile applications for Magic: The Gathering and Pokemon TCG Pocket.
