Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, dubbed Sandlord, has just launched, and it's shaping up to be the game's most expansive season to date. This season introduces an array of fresh content that redefines gameplay, challenging you to construct a majestic floating empire in the sky.
What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?
The star of the season is undoubtedly the Cloud Oasis, a dynamic city you get to manage. Here, you'll harvest resources from the Netherrealm and leverage them to boost your empire by assigning workers to one of five distinct professions. This strategic move not only unlocks new trade routes but also grants you access to bonuses and seasonal rewards, blending the thrill of ARPG combat with the depth of a strategy simulation.
Thea, once a revered divine channeler, has transformed into the Blasphemer, bringing a darker twist to her abilities. Instead of bestowing blessings, she now spreads desecration, inflicting escalating Erosion Damage that intensifies over time.
The Deep Space region has undergone a significant overhaul, introducing five new stages teeming with monsters and survival challenges. Additionally, a new item type called Probes has been added. These function similarly to Compasses but occupy a unique slot, enhancing both your rewards and the difficulty level of your encounters.
New Stages Are Here
The endgame content has been enriched with new Legendary Stages. These rare stages offer unique loot setups that can significantly alter your gameplay strategy. Some areas, like the Abyssal Vault, have taken an unconventional approach by removing enemies entirely, replacing them with numerous Mystery Chests ripe for the taking.
In contrast, the Sea of Rites is overrun with goblins. While these creatures don't attack, defeating them could trigger the appearance of a hidden boss. The Supreme Showdown introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both you and the bosses to transform foes into treasure with the right strike.
As Torchlight: Infinite celebrates its second anniversary, you can download the game from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the thrilling new season, Sandlord.
