Elden Ring Nightreign Inching Closer To Launch
Continuously Tweaking and Balancing the Game
With Elden Ring Nightreign just days away from release, the development team at FromSoftware continues to make final adjustments to ensure a polished and balanced experience. During an interview with GamesRadar+ on May 27, Director Junya Ishizaki expressed both excitement and nervousness as the game nears its launch window. Despite the pressure, Ishizaki remains confident in the team’s efforts, stating that they are "really trying to tweak things until the very last minute."
The team is focused on fine-tuning every aspect of the game to enhance player comfort and responsiveness. Ishizaki emphasized this point by saying, "We're busy fine-tuning, getting the most out of any single session. We want players to feel happy and comfortable in each session, so we're really trying to get that player comfort and that play feel just really fine-tuned until the very end."
While FromSoftware is best known for its challenging single-player Soulsborne titles, they have prior experience with multiplayer elements in games like Dark Souls and Armored Core. However, Nightreign represents one of their most co-op-focused projects yet, making balance and optimization crucial to its success.
Official Launch Trailer Reveals Revenant
