FIFA Partners with Konami for FIFAe World Cup

Konami and FIFA's unexpected esports collaboration: The FIFAe Virtual World Cup 2024 will be played on eFootball!

This surprising partnership follows years of competition between FIFA and PES. The FIFAe Virtual World Cup 2024 will utilize Konami's eFootball platform, a significant development after EA Sports and FIFA ended their long-standing partnership in 2022.

In-Game Qualifiers Now Live on eFootball!

The tournament features two divisions: Console (PS4 and PS5) and Mobile. Eighteen countries are vying for the final spots: Brazil, Japan, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, England, France, Costa Rica, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Thailand, and Turkey.

The three-stage in-game qualifiers run from October 10th to 20th. National Nomination Phases for the 18 participating countries follow from October 28th to November 3rd.

The offline final round will conclude in late 2024; the specific date remains unannounced. Players from outside the 18 qualifying nations can still participate in the qualifiers up to Round 3, earning rewards like 50 eFootball coins, 30,000 XP, and other bonuses.

A surprising twist in the gaming world!

The collaboration between FIFA and Konami marks a significant shift after their long history of rivalry. FIFA's high licensing fee demands led to the split with EA in 2022, resulting in the launch of EA Sports FC 24. This unexpected partnership with Konami for the FIFAe World Cup 2024 adds an intriguing layer to the ongoing esports landscape.

Download eFootball from the Google Play Store and participate in the current event featuring a special Bruno Fernandes design and an 8x match experience multiplier for faster Dream Team progression.
