In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, the side quest "A Good Scrub" sets you on a path to help Betty with her bathhouse in Kuttenberg. This quest leads to further tasks, including the search for a flea-infested item for the subsequent quest, "Ill Repute." Here's how to find something infested with fleas for Betty:
Pick Up 'A Good Scrub'
To start, speak to the innkeeper in Kuttenberg about work, who will direct you to Betty. There are two bathhouses in the city, but you need to find Betty's, located in the southeast part. Tell her you heard she has work and agree to go to Grund to find Matsek. Matsek is hesitant to be seen with the girls he's supposed to bring to the bathhouse. Approach the courtyard where he's standing and find the three girls at a table. Inform them you're there for Betty and escort them back to the city.
Promote the Bathhouse
Once the girls are back, Betty asks you to help promote the bathhouse by spreading the word at the grain market, horse market, vintners' street, and merchants' street. This must be done during the day, so if it's too late, wait until morning to proceed.
Clean Up the Bathhouse and Finish 'A Good Scrub'
After promoting the bathhouse, you need to clean it up before the alderman's inspection. Completing these tasks quickly is crucial; failure to do so results in the bathhouse being shut down, preventing you from picking up "Ill Repute."
Finding Fleas for 'Ill Repute' in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
After passing the inspection, talk to Betty about the bathhouse's ongoing issues. She reveals that the city council is deciding on the main bathhouse, and you need to make the councillor leave the competing bathhouse. To do this, gather information from Meaty Mary, Katcha, and Little Lida about the councillor's dislikes.
You'll need Chamomile Brew to add to the wine cask on the second floor of the competing bathhouse. Lida will only tell you about the councillor's preference for fragrant oils if you give her a noblewomen's dress from a tailor. To sabotage further, lockpick a cabinet on the third floor and steal the oils.
Katcha mentions that the bathhouse once had fleas. To find the flea-infested item, head to the east gate of Kuttenberg City. There, you'll find a small camp of beggars. Search the sacks to locate a flea-infested blanket.
Once you have the fleas, return to the bathhouse and go to the room where you added the Chamomile Brew to the wine. When no one is watching, interact with the baskets and pour the fleas into Councillor Naaz's laundry basket and the clean laundry basket.
If you can't find the flea-infested item, remember that completing just one of the three tasks is enough to make the councillor leave, allowing you to finish the quest and move on to others like "Axe from the Lake."
