Fortnite Reload's next update is far from ordinary. Starting in just a few days, you'll battle for survival in Squid Grounds, a new map inspired by the Squid Game universe. Red Light, Green Light evolves from a nostalgic memory into an active gameplay mechanic. This new arena mixes chaotic, confined spaces with underground mazes, creating moments of tense calm right before the action explodes.
During the launch weekend beginning June 27th, Squid Grounds will be the only playable map in Fortnite Reload, temporarily replacing Oasis until June 30th. Prepare for high-stakes duels and a survival game atmosphere woven into Reload's core gameplay loop. The available arsenal is expanding too, with additions like the Red-Eye Submachine Gun, an Uncommon Boogie Bomb, and the Itemised Glider Redeploy.
June 27th also brings a complete Ranked Reset for both Reload and Zero Build modes. Your new rank will be determined after a single match in each mode, based on your current standing. This offers a fresh start and a clear path to climb the ranks without prior scores influencing your placement. New players will still need to outlast 500 opponents to unlock Ranked mode access.
