Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Beta Arrives This Month!

Author : Caleb Jan 22,2025

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is gearing up for its first closed beta on Android and PC, bringing a new kind of Westeros experience to players. Netmarble's upcoming action-adventure title will launch its closed beta on January 15th, running until the 22nd in the US, Canada, and select European regions. Android users can register now!

Unlike previous Game of Thrones mobile games that focused on strategy, Kingsroad offers a unique third-person perspective. Players become the heir to House Tyre, embarking on a journey across Westeros, battling enemies, and building prestige.

The trailer showcases a Witcher-esque gameplay style, featuring third-person exploration and combat. Players can choose from three distinct classes: Sellsword, Knight, and Assassin. While the visuals are promising, the true test will be the final product.

Winter is Coming (or, you know, it's already here!)

The closed beta registration closes on January 12th, so don't miss out! While Game of Thrones: Kingsroad looks promising, it will undoubtedly face intense scrutiny. Despite the peak of Game of Thrones' popularity having passed, a dedicated fanbase eagerly awaits a game like this.

Monetization and long-term support will be key factors determining the game's success. If Netmarble delivers, they could provide the immersive Game of Thrones experience fans have longed for.
