Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Pity System Explained: Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners?

Developed by Sunborn, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is a free-to-play tactical RPG available on PC and mobile. As a gacha game, understanding the pity system is crucial. This guide clarifies whether your pity counter transfers between banners.

The short answer is: Yes, for limited banners. Your pity progress and pulls from one limited-time banner carry over to the next.

For instance, during the global launch, the Suomi and Ullrid banners ran concurrently. Pity accumulated across both; pulls on one banner increased the pity counter for both. If you were close to pity on the Suomi banner, you could switch to Ullrid and still benefit from that accumulated pity. This applies to all future limited-time banners. CN player feedback on Reddit confirms this behavior. Once the Suomi and Ullrid banners end, your remaining pity will transfer to the next limited banner.

However, this pity system does not extend between limited and standard banners. You cannot stockpile pity on the standard banner and then use it on a limited banner to obtain a featured character.

Important Pity Mechanics:

  • Hard Pity: Guaranteed SSR at 80 pulls.
  • Soft Pity: Increased SSR chance starting at 58 pulls. Your odds gradually improve until hard pity is reached at 80 pulls.

This explanation should resolve any confusion about pity transfer in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. Check out The Escapist for more game guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox location information.
