Embark on a side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to recover Vostatek's missing horse, Pepik, and reap the rewards!
This guide will walk you through the "Lackey" quest, leading you to a rewarding conclusion.
First, accept the "Lackey" side quest from Zlata at Gamemaster Vostatek's residence west of Tachov, or directly from Vitek nearby (southeast of the house). This initiates your journey north.
You'll encounter Vostatek under attack by wolves. After rescuing him, help him reach his campsite where Pepik was tethered. Unfortunately, Pepik is gone, stolen by poachers.
Follow the trail of clues to a poacher's camp.
You'll find Pepik at the back of the camp. Strategically eliminate the poachers (taking them out individually is recommended) or, if you prefer a less confrontational approach, mount Pepik and escape before engaging in combat.
Return Pepik to Vostatek's camp. You can then choose to ride with him back to his home (fast travel option). Your reward: a generous sum of Groschen and access to his home as a convenient resting place. Enjoy your newfound wealth and the opportunity to pursue other quests or romances in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, now available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
