Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Controversy Compensation Offered

Infinity Nikki has rolled out compensation for players affected by the problematic release of version 1.5. Following widespread feedback, developer Infold Games has acknowledged the issues and offered in-game rewards to affected players. Here’s everything you need to know about the compensation, delayed updates, and upcoming improvements.

Infinity Nikki Version 1.5: What Went Wrong?

Diamond Compensation for Players

Version 1.5 launched with high expectations, but fell short of promises made by Infold Games. On May 18, the studio addressed the community via a post on X (formerly Twitter), apologizing for the "unstable game environment and unsatisfactory content." In response, they announced compensation for all players.

The update introduced numerous technical bugs across platforms, some severe enough to make the game unplayable. Additionally, system changes increased the number of pieces required to complete a 5-star outfit—from 9 or 10 to 11—raising the maximum pulls needed to 220. This shift significantly increased the time and resources required to collect full sets, frustrating many players.

A new dye system was also introduced, which many found overly complex and tedious, requiring players to unlock color palettes individually for each clothing item. Furthermore, the Threads of Reunion storyline was removed, as the associated outfit remains unfinished. Infold Games explained, "Due to technical hurdles in Version 1.5, we were unable to properly refine the introduction of the Sea of Stars chapter and the narrative setup for Threads of Reunion, which regrettably led to confusion."

As compensation, all players will receive 120 Diamonds and 1 Energy Crystal daily from June 5 to June 12, totaling 960 Diamonds and 8 Energy Crystals. However, the studio has not yet shared a detailed roadmap for fixing the core issues, prompting continued player concerns in the comments regarding the pity system, dye mechanics, and unresolved bugs.

Version 1.6 Delayed to June 12, 2025

In light of the version 1.5 rollout challenges, Infold Games has extended the current update cycle to allow more time for fixes. As a result, version 1.6 has been delayed until June 12, 2025, impacting the in-game event calendar.

The new weekly task, Starlit Pursuit, originally set for May 20, will now launch with version 1.6. According to the developers, "This delay allows us to refine task mechanics for a smoother experience. Additional details will be announced at a later date—please stay tuned." To compensate for the postponement, players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals.

Upcoming Adjustments and Player Feedback Initiative

Infold Games admits that many issues remain unresolved. "There are also unlisted adjustments under discussion. Some changes require extended development cycles, but we commit to implementing them through phased updates," the team stated.

To improve transparency and communication, they are launching the Miraland Round Table, a new initiative allowing players to share direct feedback with the development team. Players can participate by emailing the official support address with "Table Advisor" in the subject line or through the Customer Service section in the game.

Infold Games expressed both regret for delayed promises and appreciation for ongoing player support. They reaffirmed their commitment to making Infinity Nikki "shine brighter than ever." The game is currently available on PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, and PC. For the latest updates, keep an eye on official channels and our coverage below!
