After weeks of anticipation and numerous requests for clarification, the development team behind Infinity Nikki has finally addressed the concerns surrounding the tumultuous rollout of Version 1.5. Many players felt that the update lacked polish, and now the developers have acknowledged that they were unprepared for the launch. As a result, the release of Version 1.6 has been postponed.
When Will Version 1.6 Be Released?
Originally scheduled for June 4th, Version 1.6 has been rescheduled for June 12th. In the meantime, the ongoing Bubble Season will continue, keeping popular events such as Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties? active until the update. Additionally, stores like Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up event will remain open until the update rolls out. Weekly activities, including Starlit Pursuit, have also been pushed to Version 1.6.
In an effort to make amends, the developers have extended apologies and promised improvements to gameplay systems. They assured players that storylines such as Threads of Reunion have not been abandoned but merely delayed. To compensate for the inconvenience, players will receive 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal per day from June 5th to June 12th, provided they log in daily.
The Current State of Infinity Nikki
Recently, the game has been plagued by technical issues, including bugs, broken quests, and malfunctioning co-op features. While the compensation offer aims to address player dissatisfaction, some users view it as a reactive measure to boost engagement metrics following the mishaps of Version 1.5. The timing of promotional content for new outfits following the apology has also drawn criticism, as it seemed insensitive to players' frustrations.
