Following the Season 01 update, many Black Ops 6 and Warzone players discovered a surplus of previously unseen XP tokens. These were quickly used to boost XP, weapon XP, and Battle Pass progress. However, a November 15th update addressed an issue that allowed these tokens to be activated incorrectly within the Black Ops 6 interface, according to the Call of Duty blog.
These Legacy XP Tokens are unused tokens carried over from previous CoD titles, such as Modern Warfare II, Modern Warfare III, or Warzone, accessible through the COD HQ app. These tokens were obtainable through various methods in those games, including DMZ missions, Battle Pass tiers, and promotions with brands like Little Caesar's and Monster Energy. Using Warzone XP Tokens in Black Ops 6
Initially, players could activate their Warzone Legacy XP tokens directly within Black Ops 6. This functionality was temporarily unavailable. However, a workaround existed:
Activate the Legacy XP Tokens in Warzone. The token and its timer would then appear in the Black Ops 6 interface. While this required switching between games and tokens had a real-time countdown, it provided a significant XP boost in Black Ops 6.
