The upcoming season of Pokémon GO is set to pack a punch with the Might and Mastery event, launching on March 4th, 2025, and running through to June 3rd, 2025. This event promises an action-packed experience with the introduction of a new Pokémon and a legendary debut.
Who’s the Might and Mastery in Pokémon GO?
The star of the show is Kubfu, the Fighting-type powerhouse that's ready to train with you. Throughout the event, you'll have the opportunity to evolve Kubfu into one of its two formidable forms: the Single Strike Style or the Rapid Strike Style of Urshifu.
Adding to the excitement, the Might and Mastery season introduces Dynamax, allowing certain Pokémon to grow to gigantic sizes during battles. Imagine watching Kubfu showcase its strength in a truly colossal display!
Your adventure kicks off with the Might and Mastery Special Research, available from March 5th at 10:00 a.m. until June 3rd at 9:59 a.m. This research will unlock progressively throughout the season, so make sure to regularly check your research tab to stay on top of the rewards and challenges.
The Powerful Potential event, scheduled from March 5th to March 10th, marks the official debut of Kubfu in Pokémon GO. This little warrior can't be traded, sent to the professor, or transferred to Pokémon HOME, making it a unique addition to your team.

Participate in Epic Battles
From March 8th at 6:00 a.m. to March 9th at 9:00 p.m., Max Battles will dominate the scene, with Power Spots refreshing more frequently. One-Star Max Battles will feature the Dynamax forms of Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble.
For those looking for a greater challenge, Six-Star Max Battles will introduce Gigantamax versions of Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. Meanwhile, One-Star Raids will spotlight Gothita, Solosis, and Sinistea, and Three-Star Raids will bring out Alolan Raichu, Hisuian Typhlosion, and Sableye.
