Gameloft has launched a massive update for Minion Rush: Running Game, bringing both visual and mechanical enhancements that elevate the gameplay experience. This update introduces a brand-new engine, revamped features, and exciting new ways to play.
What Are the Key Updates in Minion Rush?
The game has now transitioned to the Unity engine, resulting in a complete visual overhaul. The once cartoonish style remains, but with improved graphics, smoother animations, and a more vibrant look overall. Alongside this upgrade comes a streamlined user interface, making navigation more intuitive and player-friendly.
One of the most anticipated additions is the endless runner mode, accessible directly from the main menu. This mode introduces extended gameplay sessions filled with non-stop action. Additionally, players can now enjoy individual abilities for each Minion, allowing for more strategic depth and personalization.
A major enhancement includes the introduction of customizable player profiles. You can now personalize your profile with unique nicknames, avatars, and frames, giving your in-game identity a fresh touch. Gameloft also added the Costume Collection feature, enabling players to unlock exclusive bonuses by completing costume sets.
Another standout addition is the Hall of Jam. As you gather bananas during runs, you fill a progress bar that unlocks valuable rewards such as story puzzle pieces, Minion stickers, G-Coins, gadgets, and costumes, enhancing both progression and collectibility.

New Power-Ups and Gadgets
This update also introduces a variety of new power-ups like the Disco-boot, Bouncer, Rocket Blade, and Minion Armor, each offering unique advantages during gameplay. In addition, new Gadgets have been added, allowing players to apply temporary boosts before starting a run—helping optimize performance and extend distances.
Visual upgrades are not limited to gameplay mechanics. Familiar locations from previous versions have received visual enhancements, making them more immersive and lively than ever before.
Compete in Daily and Weekly Tournaments
To spice up the competitive side of the game, Gameloft has introduced daily and weekly tournaments. These events let you challenge other players worldwide while earning exclusive rewards based on your performance.
