The highly anticipated game, Morikomori Life, has officially launched on both Android and iOS platforms, exclusively in Japan. This time, it's being published by Realfun Studio. Originally, the game was released in China by Level Infinite under Tencent Games, but the Chinese version was taken down approximately a year ago.
The Rural Farm Life Sim Is Back
One of the standout features of Morikomori Life is its stunning visuals. The developers have masterfully captured the essence of a cozy rural life through anime-inspired art, specifically reminiscent of Studio Ghibli's style. These scenes don't just resemble Ghibli's work; they feel like they've been directly extracted from their animated films.
The storyline follows Kaon, a young Japanese girl who receives a mysterious letter from her grandmother, urging her to visit her in the countryside village of Komori. Here, players delve into a journey of rediscovery, embracing the tranquility and warmth of rural life. The game’s 3D toon shading enhances the serene beauty of the Japanese landscapes, making them feel authentic and inviting.
