Pokémon Go enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting new addition to the upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event. Niantic has introduced a $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade that promises a host of in-game benefits and enhanced real-world facilities, including "upgraded restrooms." This annual summer extravaganza will take place at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, as well as in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan. For those attending the Jersey City event, this new upgrade option offers a range of perks that could enhance your experience.

Imagine treating yourself to a Business Class experience at Go Fest. The Premier Access lounge is your ticket to luxury, featuring "upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating to recharge yourself for your next adventure." While the specifics of these upgraded restrooms remain a mystery, the promise of better facilities is certainly appealing. Additionally, Premier Access grants you fast-track entry to the Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store, allowing you to bypass long lines and maximize your playtime by quickly grabbing your favorite Pokémon merchandise.

The real draw of the Premier Access upgrade, however, lies in the treasure trove of in-game items it provides. You'll receive a bounty of essentials that could easily cost $300 if purchased separately. Here's a detailed look at what you get:

  • 100 Poké Balls
  • 100 Great Balls
  • 100 Ultra Balls
  • 50 Silver Pinap Berries
  • 100 Super Incubators
  • 10 Lucky Eggs
  • 10 Incense
  • 10 Star Pieces
  • 10 Lure Modules
  • 10 Glacial Lure Modules
  • 10 Magnetic Lure Modules
  • 10 Mossy Lure Modules
  • 10 Rainy Lure Modules
  • 100 Premium Battle Passes
  • 20 Max Particle Packs
  • 5 Max Mushrooms

And as a special bonus, Premier Access ticket holders will receive an exclusive enamel pin badge.

The reaction to this new ticket offer has been mixed. Some players feel that the $100 price tag is exorbitant, especially given the increasing number of in-game purchase options. Others, however, recognize the value in the extensive list of in-game items and see it as a worthwhile investment, particularly for those who have already committed to attending Go Fest and have the disposable income to splurge on an enhanced experience.

IGN has reached out to Niantic to inquire if this Premier Access offer will be available at other Go Fest locations.

Mark your calendars for Pokémon Go Fest 2025, happening over the weekend of May 29 in Osaka, June 6 in Jersey City, and June 13 in Paris. This year's event will spotlight the release of the Legendary creature Volcanion and the wider release of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
