In January, Bluepoch Games teased an exciting collaboration with Ubisoft, revealing plans for a Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover featuring none other than Ezio Auditore da Firenze as a playable character. Partnering with the renowned game developer, the crossover will highlight two fan-favorite titles from the Assassin’s Creed series: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey.
A mysterious teaser released in January showcased Vertin walking through a rain-soaked street, with the iconic Assassin’s Creed logo glowing in the distance. Now, the full details are here, and the highly anticipated collaboration is set to launch across Android, iOS, and PC platforms in August 2025.
Beyond Ezio, the crossover promises a rich narrative experience divided into two captivating phases. Phase I takes players back to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team navigate 15th-century Italy, uncovering cryptic clues and unraveling mysteries. As Phase II unfolds, players are transported to ancient Greece, immersing themselves in the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fans of the original game will recognize familiar events and locations as Vertin’s journey continues.
