Shining Revelry Expansion Coming Soon to Pokemon TCG Pocket

Author : Isabella May 06,2025

My interest in Pokemon TCG Pocket ebbs and flows, but nothing reignites my passion quite like a new set release. I dive in eagerly when a new expansion arrives, playing fervently to earn Emblems by securing around 40 wins. Once that goal is met, my engagement shifts to a more casual routine: logging in daily to open packs, enjoying a Wonder Pick for fun, and then moving on until the next day. This cycle is set to repeat with the arrival of the latest expansion, Shining Revelry, launching on March 27th.

Shining Revelry will enrich the TCG Pocket experience with 110 new cards, featuring an assortment of new Ex Pokemon, Trainers, and the stunning art cards that fans adore. The highlight of this expansion, as hinted by its name, is the introduction of Shiny Pokemon—unique, differently colored variants of beloved creatures. For instance, you'll see Lucario in a striking yellow instead of its usual blue, and Pachirisu adorned with a charming pink stripe.

The trailer, which you can view below, teases what's in store. It showcases a new Shiny Charizard Ex with 180 HP and a powerful attack, Steam Artillery, that inflicts 150 damage at the cost of five energy. However, its other move, Stoke, allows for the attachment of three Fire Energy at once, making it a strategic powerhouse.

Another exciting addition is the Lucario Ex, which steps up from its supporting role in the Space-Time Smackdown expansion to a more frontline position. With 150 HP, its Aura Sphere attack deals 100 damage for three Fighting Energy and hits an opponent's Benched Pokemon for 30, adding a tactical edge to your battles.

The trailer also offers glimpses of other cards that, while not game-changers, are visually appealing and valuable additions. Shiny versions of Wiglett, Pachirisu, and Varoom are set to make their debut, looking absolutely fabulous. Additionally, there's a breathtaking Tatsugiri art rare that I'm eager to add to my digital collection.

Pokemon TCG Pocket is readily available for download on the App Store and Google Play, offering a free-to-play experience with optional in-app purchases. If you're interested, you can easily get it for your preferred platform using the links provided below.
