Solo Leveling: Arise's 2025 Championship: A Competitive Twist to a Single-Player Game
The Solo Leveling: Arise Championship 2025 prelims are set to begin on February 21st, pitting players against each other in a race for the fastest clear times across four Battlefield of Time maps. The competition, culminating in an April 12th grand final in Korea, boasts a substantial 20 million KRW prize pool.
This speed-run style tournament is a unique addition to the primarily single-player Solo Leveling: Arise. Eligibility requires players to have accumulated 1000 or more points in Battlefield of Time season 7. The competition will run from February 21st to March 9th, divided into Asian and International leagues. Participants' rankings will be determined by their combined fastest times across the four selected maps. The top eight from each league will advance to the grand finals.
While the competitive aspect might seem unusual for a single-player game, the popularity of the original Solo Leveling manhwa and the thriving South Korean esports scene suggest a potentially large viewership.
