Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been delayed once more, with the new release window set for October 2025. This latest update comes directly from the game's official Twitter (X) account, which announced the delay alongside a video update on March 26.
Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance
In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared the current state of the game's development, stating, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases." This focus on polishing the game underscores Paradox's commitment to providing players with a high-quality experience.
To keep the community informed, Paradox has been regularly posting Dev Diaries over the past few months, covering various aspects of the game such as characters, stories, and mechanics. However, all Dev Diaries will be paused temporarily to allow the developers to concentrate on enhancing the game's overall quality.
First Revealed in 2019
Originally announced in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially slated for release in March 2020. The game was being developed by Hardsuit Labs at the time. However, the release date was pushed back to an unspecified date in 2020, and then further delayed to 2021.
During this period, the project saw several key team members depart. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be working on the game, and development responsibilities were handed over to The Chinese Room. Under The Chinese Room's direction, the game was expected to launch in late 2024, but this was later revised to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is scheduled to launch in October 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay tuned to our website for the latest updates and news on the game!
