World of Warcraft confirmed the introduction of Breakneck races, which will leverage the D.R.I.V.E. system to its fullest potential.

In addition to Breakneck races, Skyrocket races introduce a novel challenge where players use Goblin jetpacks to soar through the skies. This new movement style blends elements of existing flight systems: players cannot stop mid-air as with Steady flight, yet they maintain momentum and altitude without the drawbacks of Skyriding. Footage from the Public Test Realm, shared by WoW content creator MrGM, shows that racers gain speed by collecting rings, but the faster they go, the less responsive their turns become, adding a layer of difficulty to these races.

Since Skyriding is not permitted in Undermine, Skyriding races are absent from the zone. However, both Breakneck and Skyrocket races will offer achievements for achieving Bronze, Silver, and Gold times. Additionally, reverse versions of all four Skyrocket and D.R.I.V.E. Breakneck races are available, though they lack Advanced or Challenge courses seen in some Skyriding races.
