Following the successful version 2.4 update, Wuthering Waves prepares to unveil its next major content drop: version 2.5 titled Unfading Melody of Life. Scheduled for release on July 24th across all platforms, this update introduces exciting new elements including fresh story content, gameplay enhancements, limited-time events, and debut character Phrolova.
Version 2.5 advances the narrative with Chapter II Act VII: Dreamcatchers in the Secret Gardens, while expanding the game world through the new Fabricatorium of the Deep location. Players will encounter brand-new Echoes such as Nightmare: Hecate and Galcio Predator, alongside formidable enemy Phantom: Nightmare Inferno Rider.
The update's standout feature is the debut of Resonator Phrolova, featured in the limited-time Requiem Without End banner. Accompanying her release is new weapon Lethean Elegy, available through a special Weapon Convene event. Players can also look forward to several engaging time-limited activities including Phantasma Dreamland, Gifts of Grand Symphony login rewards, and The Border Mountains event.
The update introduces the Dream of the Lost Sonata Effect, providing critical rate boosts and enhanced Echo Skill damage when maintaining zero Resonance Energy. For strategic team-building guidance, consult our comprehensive Wuthering Waves character tier rankings.
