Wings of Heroes, the World War II aerial combat game by Ten Square Games, has launched a thrilling update. It introduces a new Player vs Environment mode named Total Defence, adding more excitement and depth to the gameplay.
Exploring Total Defence
Beyond battling other players in intense Dogfights (3v3 and 5v5), Domination, and Annihilation modes, you can now team up with two AI wingmen to protect vital ground targets from relentless enemy aircraft waves.
Across ten increasingly challenging waves, pilots confront agile fighters, heavy bombers, and even powerful boss planes. That’s the dynamic experience Total Defence delivers to Wings of Heroes.
This new mode shifts from the traditional solo or team-based formats. Players must make rapid decisions to prioritize threats and strategize to safeguard ground assets effectively.
Alongside the PvE update, the developers have enhanced the game’s core mechanics.
A key addition is the Plane Mastery feature, allowing players to specialize in specific aircraft and achieve unique milestones, with a sleek black-and-gold Master Livery as a reward.
The League system has also been refined. Responding to player feedback, ranks now persist at the end of each season, making competitive play more engaging and rewarding over time.
Have You Experienced Wings of Heroes?
Wings of Heroes offers a wide array of WW2 aircraft, from nimble fighters to sturdy bombers. Players can soar in a swift fighter or unleash heavy payloads with a bomber, with extensive upgrades available for armor and fuselage.
